It’s a painting Kirt did for his father just after he died. Don’t ask him any more about it. His father found it disturbing that none of his children wanted to be farmers and found it really disturbing that one of his sons wanted to be an artist.

Who Will Pick Up The Wire When It’s All Over by Kirt Hardcastle
It’s a problem with all the wire, all the bombs and all the shit that goes off when you have a war, it all gets left over. There was a thing that Kirt had to do every morning out on the fire bases, he had to go walk the wire. He saw things like monkeys and water buffaloes and every once in a person. Kirt had two thoughts; one who is going to pick that up after the war is all over and two just walking the wire and seeing these things mangled in it.
